The Flood Washed Away More Than a Home. Help Gulsi Morang Rebuild.

For Gulsi Morang and her family, the floods and storm that struck Santak Bor Miching village changed that sense of security in a matter of hours.

Their home was severely damaged, with walls giving way and debris left behind. Essential household belongings and cooking utensils were broken, damaged or swept away, leaving the family to begin again with very little.

Before the flood, Anil's household lived on an indicative ₹5,100–₹6,400 a month, coming largely from farm work and the livestock the family kept at home, based on typical income levels for similar households in the area and yet to be confirmed through field verification.

In the immediate aftermath, essential household and kitchen items provided some much-needed relief.

Gulsi Morang, wife of Anil Morang says:

“We felt good receiving these household utensils and items because our belongings were damaged during the flood. I want to rebuild a safe home for my family and restore what we lost.”
